Despite being right near the Newell Hwy it was surprisingly a quiet location. The bed was very comfortable for a good night sleep with everything you need for a comfortable stop over. This motel also looks out at the lake and parkland so it was a delight to wake up to this view in the morning.”

“Arrived late afternoon with a large race car trailer in tow and a ute full of fibreglass mounds and "other" perishables loaded. Weather forecast - WET, Very Wet. Motel Owner offered a suggestion to park under the Reception Carport, the area was floodlit and as secure and dry as anyone could expect. Me - more than happy! Bonus - A car museum is just (300m) down the road.”
